Antara Bhide and Priyakanta Laishram - I want to see representation of queer people in the media as normal people

On this special episode of Two’s Company, to celebrate Pride month, we have theatre practitioner and Assistant Professor of Dramatic Literature in Kala Academy, Antara Bhide and actor, writer and filmmaker behind Manipur’s first queer movie, Priyakanta Laishram. They chat about the importance of empathy while working with a crew of people to bring a creative vision to life, how creativity cannot be taught and how queer stories in the media need to be more than stories of struggle, but rather stories of the LGBTQIA+ community as ordinary people.
