So today is the final episode of season 1 of our very first podcast. For those who may be listening for the first time and aren’t familiar, Kia and I have been running Glamourina Activewear for a little over 7 years now and we are constantly looking for ways to improve and expand our business. Because who we are has been such a big part of our success, we thought launching a podcast would be a great way to get up close and personal with our current audience and build a new audience at the same time. We started brainstorming at the end of 2022 and launched Feb 2023.

Thank you for tuning into today’s episode of Behind Glamourina | Moms on a Mission. We have a passion for building sisterhood through wellness, and creating a safe space where all women feel like they belong.

In today’s episode, we’re discussing the Link Between Hair Relaxers & Uterine Cancer in Black Women. A recent article from UVA Health reads: “It seems like everything we eat or touch these days can cause cancer. Toxic chemicals show up on our fruit, in our makeup, in cleaning supplies.
