It's Halloween week and we're claiming it back as a desi phenomenon. We're no experts in lore, religion or culture but that won't stop us from diving deep into the spooky waters of desi Demons! Alex read a book called 'Ghosts, Monsters, and Demons of India' and narrates all about some very sinister creatures in there like the Pisacha, Uthlen, TasmaPa and Deyyam.

Deadly Devotion - The Madanapalle Murders
On Jan 24th 2020, the double murders of sisters 27 yr old Alekhya & 23 yr old Sai Divya in Madanapalle rocked India just as the Pandemic had put the nation into lockdown. Their family was so entrenched in the delusions & superstitions of a mentally unwell instigator. The shared delusions of salvation & resurrection seemed to have suddenly led to these strange & spine-tingling murders of the sister by their own parents.
The case is so convoluted and it's nearly impossible to make sense of who instigated & manipulated whom. What do you think?

Cast Aside - The Kaste Family Murders
In the middle of the Pandemic in 2021, Bharti Kaste was sick with worry over her missing family. Her 21 yr old sister Rupali was missing along with their mother, sister & 2 young cousins. Rupali had been in a relationship for 3 years with their landlord Surendra Chauhan. When she confronted him about his clandestine engagement to another girl, Rupali & her family went missing. Bharti didn't give up & fought for justice for her family till a very sad & shocking revelation 6 feet under the Chauhan Farm. Hers's a case where the archaic and horrible caste system raises it's ugly head to sway people into believing they could simply get rid of an entire family simply because they considered them beneath them.

Good content but….
A show centred around stories of Bone-chilling and horrifying occurrences may be best presented with lesser distractions.
Although the style of narration is decent, the interruptions of too many opinions or casual commentary makes the flow of plot turbulent.
Irrelevant podcast. Disappointed.
The clips are over an hour in most cases and the hosts go on talking about rubbish for over 10 mins straight up which is absolutely unrelated to the case/ podcast.
What a waste of time.
Good show, but can we tone down the chatter in between
The incessant rants, random tidbits, jokes all really get in the middle of good storytelling. When you’re are narrating it is great! But I keep getting thrown off in the middle when you go off the trajectory again and again. Leaves me impatient, annoyed and dissatisfied overall.
If we can juuuust tone down on that a bit more, this show would be great.
