    Episode #8 5 Mistakes I did in my initial Digital Marketing Career.

    Hello and welcome to another episode of Digi Gyaan. This is episode number 8 and in this ill be talking about the mistakes I did when I was starting out with setting up of my digital marketing agency back in 2017. Mistake Number1: Not Focusing on one skill – Okay, so when I learned Internet Marketing I was like any other newbie who wants to be the full stack digital marketer. But the real Fact is you should be highly specialized in one Digital marketing skill if you really want to succeed. It may be in SEO, Copy writing, Facebook paid ads, Email Marketing etc.  You don’t need to be the jack of all, Master on none. In fact Focus on One Skill more and be specialized in that. But this does not mean you need to learn only one skill but I am making a point here learn everything but be the real master in one skill only. Mistake Number2: Real Field Exposure- As a newbie, I just learned the digital marketing from various sources and opened up my own agency immediately after that without having the real experience of how to deal the actual clients in the market, what they actually want and how can we approach them. So the point I want to make here is always try to do internships first then only plan to setup your own venture. Mistake Number3: Proper offline strategy: As a fresher in the marketing field I did not have a clue of how actually to approach the businesses in the local market and convince them to buy our services.  This really made be on the back foot and even after 3 months I was only had 3 clients. The point I want to made here is always study the behavior of the market first from where you want your clients and what they are actually struggling in the online marketing. Make a Plan and then only approach them Mistake Number 4: Charging Too less: Since I just started with the new business. We planned to give various discounts to our customers and do cost to cost business for the time being. But this strategy really backfired and we lost so much of money and even customers after sometime. The point here I want to commit is Always work on Quality and make a strong presence of your brand that clients are willing to pay what you want from them. Mistake Number5: Hiring of personnel: As a new Business I had a limited capital to invest. So I was really finding the personnel who can do multiple tasks and that too at the minimum salary. And you all know I failed in this too. I was not even able to get the satisfactory work from them and I lost a lot of money, Client and reputation. So the point you need to learn from this is always hire specialized people to get your work done. And if you do not have a big pocket which I know most of newbie don’t have , what you can do is look for some freelancers and only pay when you have something to get done. Fiverr is the best platform to look for the best freelancers. Okay That`s all. I hope you have learned from my experience and you won`t commit them and play more safe. I hope you liked it.     EPISODE #7 AD Sense Vs Affiliate Marketing

    Hello and Welcome to another episode of Digi Gyaan. This is episode No 7 and in this we will try to cover the actual difference b/w Ad Sense Vs Affiliate Marketing. But before starting out with the difference few points should be consider like the Niche you are doing content & blogging about. Because it is very important in deciding what ways you can actually monetize it. For Example if you have a general news site Ad sense would be a better option but if you are blogging about some narrow niche like sports then affiliate marketing would be the best option. Okay now we will see the actual difference between affiliate marketing and Ad sense. Difference Number1: Google Ad Sense works on Pay per view and most often affiliate marketing programs allows you to earn on every successful sale only. Difference Number 2: You need to Sign up for multiple affiliate channels if you want to promote multiple and differentiated products. But Google Ad Sense displays ads on your site based on your content and audience behavior automatically that means you don`t need to worry about. Difference Number3: Nowadays earning from Ad Sense is more about getting organic reach and affiliate has been seriously become a paid marketing game, that means you need to spent on advertisements if you want to sell affiliate products. Difference Number4: You can start earning from Google Ad Sense faster than affiliate marketing but the earning will be less if you do not have a good quantitative traffic. Difference Number5: Sometimes if you give various advertisements spaces on your web page for Google ad sense it may be the possibility that you viewers find it difficult to navigate through your website., thus resulting in the increased bounce rate. But this would not be the case if you are doing affiliate marketing. Okay so this is the basics differentiation between affiliate marketing and ad sense business models.
