Episode 38: The Eerie and Disturbing History of the Cecil Hotel

Camp Final Girls Podcast

The Cecil Hotel opened up December 20, 1924. The hotel was first built to be a luxury hotel but became more of a scandalous hotel after the great depression failed to build the business. Since the opening of the hotel there had been at least 16 murders, suicide, overdoses and unexplained paranormal activity. Bad things would continue to keep happening there and even housed some of America's most notorious serial killers. One of the biggest stories that gained national attention would be the center of the hotels darkest secrets, the disappearance of Elisa Lam.
