Dr Donna Scott received her Veterinary Science degree from the University of Melbourne in 2007. The University then offered Dr Scott a surgical internship which she did for 18 months. Dr Scott then worked as a General Practitioner in Whistler Canada for 18 months before coming back to the University of Melbourne where she was offered a position in the surgical department again.

From the very beginning Dr Scott realised Western Medicine had its limitations. After graduation she dedicated her free time studying Veterinarian Homeopathy, Veterinarian Acupuncture, Food Therapy and Herbal Medicines. She currently is an Internationally Certified Veterinarian Acupuncturist, Herbalist and Homeopath. She is an Internationally Certified canine rehabilitation Specialist & Chiroprator. She mainly focuses on canine sports medicine, rehabilitating neurological and surgical patients.

This week’s episode of Chats with Saff ( Dean Saffron)  is a heroic story of overcoming all odds.

This week’s guest on  Furfilment Chats with Saff is the Mayor of Montaione, I fell in love with this town nestled in the foothills of Tuscany a few years ago. It was here that I had the good fortune to meet one of the most extraordinary people I have had the good fortune to meet,  local Mayor ,  Paulo Pomponi.

Paolo is now in his second term of Mayoral duties and he was the first Tuscan mayor to invite refugees into the town for resettlement and continues to do so. We explore some of Paulo’s pivotal life experiences and values that have shaped his love affair with his town. I hope  you enjoy.

This week our special guest is Ilse who explains how her love of the natural world began growing up in South Africa. Now an art therapist on the Sunshine Coast, Ilse shares how she found solace in nature, and learned to appreciate it in all forms ranging from the baboons in her back yard to the stray monkeys that her mother brought home. Our conversation this week explores how this upbringing has influenced Ilse’s current lifestyle and we learn about the numerous animals  in Isle’s life now. I hope you enjoy.
