Eric Blehm is a former editor of Transworld Snowboarding Magazine and is a New York Times best selling author specializing in adventure biographies. He's here to talk about his latest book, "The Darkest White" which is a deep look into the life and tragic death of the legendary snowboarder, Craig Kelly.
Kelly is arguably the most influential Snowboarder of all time. His death in an avalanche in 2003 was a shock to the snowboarding and mountain guiding communities and the aftermath left many questions unanswered.
In the Darkest White, Blehm weaves together Kelly's biography, a history of the sport of snowboarding and approaches the avalanche with a forensic eye in an effort to make sense of the tragic event.
