    Facilitator: Brad Topics:  How to use VoiceOver to copy just the song lyrics, you can use Text Selections in your Rotor to copy and paste; Learn how to use the Amazon App; Café # was #114; What's the # for Accessibility number Amazon Help is 888-283-1678; Info on a memory card called Sandisk, owned by Western Digital; Innosearch.AI on Amazon, free shipping, free 30 day returns, very accessable; How to find the # of Text and Email messages on the home screen, haven't seen # since update to 18, try going to settings, notifications, Messages,  Badges and check if it's on;  How to get Medical ID to show in Lock screen, look in Health App; Making folders for apps, VO not telling where my finger is when moving apps into folders, may help to move slow;  Issue with putting the phone app on the dock;  Trying use SIRI to transfer money in Apple Pay, Can only send what is in there, Can't add to the cash; Setting up Stove with App and trouble finding setup manual in English; Checking email messages on Apple watch crown, keeps showing watch faces, can use Apple what app on phone;  Can't find the end exercise on apple watch, swipe through pages, you can use Siri; Using the iexpand drive, using a lightening flash drive on Iphone with adapter for transferring to PC but won't copy everything;  Issues with using calls coming through headset, answer through Iphone with bluetooth; Debating on switching to a 13 to 16 regular or Pro, AI may be different, camera and Dynamic Island in question; Backing up Icloud storage, doesn't back up everything; which storage is best?  Hearing test on iphone works very well;  Magsafe can charge with battery power bank, which cable charging brick is best; How to select text in edit, copy, and share with share sheet, with the rotor;  Is Paramount Plus accessible with VoiceOver on App. iBUG Bytes: Brad:  Text effects feature with IOS 18.1, available on IOS 18 compatible Iphones, 6 effects, must have predictive text enable, only on IOS iPhone; would Voice Over read effects; If you tap the text effects before you type, all words will have same effects;

    Facilitator: Maria Topics:  Issues with predictive text on after I stop typing, using brail input, mostly used in messages, Why it comes up, Doesn't tell if a mistake happens,  how to access auto correct to turn on or off keyboard; Email a screenshot, document or picture to someone, Multiple ways to send;  In the email app, can you reorder the mailboxes; On a 16 Pro IOS 18.1 email, used to be able to reorder the different mailboxes by dragging and dropping to move them, it not working right now, also Audio ducking;  Which AI apps are people using and with which app, ie, AI Google Gemeni, or Google IOS app; Double tapping on library videos, now can do audio description, ie Pixie Box; Since updating, Unable to put phone app on the dock, moving apps is broken;  How to send a Blind Text to a group that’s directed to an individual;  Using your Planet Fitness app, accessing a friend's history, refer a friend is now at top;  Be My Eyes, inviting a friend or family member to sign up to be in a your group, but also would be available for other calls, you use with FaceTime, Google Duo;  Using another person's phone camera, you need to use WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger, calls can be transferred to use the Ray-Ban glasses to be used like Be My Eye's; Unable to open the App Store; One Drive will be ending on iPhone and IPad; New App for Blind compass using verbal input; Using Bard mobile, books seems to be in the library downloaded twice, one might be for more info;  Using screen curtain, issues with it going on and off constantly, how to turn that off, try turning rightness down;  iBUG Bytes:  IOS 18.1 new feature, ability to record phone call with transcriptions, which will appear in the Notes folder, in Call recordings, in ICloud app; Can also be used in Facetime or another call app;  The other person gets an automated message saying the call is being recorded, can be accepted or rejected; When would it be used?;  How legal is it? Can vary state to state, Can use transcriptions.

    Facilitator: Greg Topics:  Sleep apnea features with 18, can it be used on iPhone,  it's used conjunction with the Apple watch series 9 or later; Issues with Voice rotor, seems to be having a mind of its own, usually one I have to download, inconsistences while scrolling voices, results seems to not use the actual voice;  Regarding the National Library Service website, issues with filling out the form, no next confirmation after hitting done, on Bard, usually takes a few days; In Facebook Messenger, Where's the inbox?  The inbox is for regular messages;  Reasons why Calls on Messenger don't seem to ring, but will ring on another call;  depending on number of cell bars may determine battery drainage;  The phone switches to the watch you're wearing, When adding a new watch, the speech rate may not change on new one, may need to adjust on the app; Issues with watch will stop talking, maybe do soft reset;  issues with VoiceOver stops talking and freezing; When is it best time to use MagSafe to charge battery; Best way to backup and reset an old IPad; Issues with dictation adding the word No to end of sentence; Siri hearing wrong name to call; Can you stop her?; Anyone use the Vocal Shortcut feature, issues with Microphone in use message, may need to turn off in other apps; Use of Bluetooth keyboard commands for different options; Use of Brail Screen input on iPhone 16, hitting wrong keys, may help to callibrate; Issues with Siri using locations services; Using MetaVeiw; Possible presentation on Rayban; Using ringtones, hearing other sound beside the ringtones, iBUG BYTES:  Greg: How to Forward a text message

Go to your settings, click on your name, Apple ID; Emojis seems to be hidden on IOS 18, how to find them?; Has anyone had and issues with the news app. reading articles; Issues with sending videos to people who have android phones, might can use RCS,  What is RCS? Rich Communication Services, set in message settings; Issues with using search in To field with keyboard, edit field, may use quicknab and check voiceover focus; What is VoiceOver modifier, and typing modifiers;  Issues with reading open app and then getting to notifications, can user rotor setting; Not able to get audio ducking to work; Using chaging screen Captions, under password and security;  Chang with auto reply to messsege with SIRI, turning auto reply in secirity; Can you Pair multiple watches to your phone; Can you redownload the Watch App; Sending messege to yourself for later; When using SpeakABoo, conflicting using App description and VoiceOver, how to change to just one; Any new feature in 18 to make taking a picture; how to reset your iPad and transfer to new one;  iBUG BYTES:  Chang in Audio Ducking setting; lowers volume levels, settings, can chose on, when using or off;

    Facilitator: Maria Topics:  How to change the voice rate on Apple Watch, can use rotor gesture, Speech rate, there is a rotor on watch;   Issues with using some copy commands and using the 3 or the 4 finger quadruple tap not working consistently, customizing gestures for coping or other commands, may not be able to change previous assigned gestures;  New AI app called SpeakaBoo, it can described objects; WhatsApp, may need to update app security key, if not working on other end; Using when tapping on Apple Watch to check the time saying 9:32 and 10 sec, 9:30 and 40 sec, it can be changed to say secs or turn off seconds; Apple Glasses coming out and might compete with Meta Glasses, Apple Glasses may be more compatible with IPhones; Pages have been updated, they moved the list of files you had and how you get to them;  App kit, it's an Apple app and updates new features, remember about Voice over practice;  Which iPhone is best for bigger fingers and using screen modes and using brail screen reader, able to calibrate the dots, things can be adjusted in the Touch in Accessibility section;   How many Voices can you download? Voices no longer tied to languages, can have as many voices as your phone can hold or as many as you want, easy to delete;  has anyone updated to 18 on iPad? Any issues with the update? Depends on type of iPhone; Any issues with listening to music;  Issues being kicked out different apps locking up and bringing you back to the home screen; Issues with dynamic island; depends on iPhone; Issue with bringing up Notification Center since update; Issues using the Password app, using Reveal to show password; How to turn voiceover on on older iPhone to reset or backup? Pressing the home button 3 times may turn VoiceOver on;

    Facilitator: Desi Topics:  what's new with the update IOS 18;  Changes in Calender reminder app;  Now can have 3 levels of audio ducking, can turn it completely off to no audio ducking at all,  Always on or just when Voice over is on;   Anyone used Astound app for a cable provider, ie, Tibo;  Anyone use the Walkie-Talkie on the Apple Watch?  It's Apple Watch to Apple Watch;   Can be used both inside the house and outside your house; The update changed Pages, moves the files down on page;  Brail Display may be effected;   Some users experience no problems with update;  Some having trouble getting out of FaceTime app;  Changes in Dictation;  Moving Apps from App library;   What's the best case for IPhone 16 Pro for chest mount; After installing update Messege in Setting about managing settings like setting up;  CarPlay, AirPlay;  Dragging and dropping apps into different app folders; Do all IPhone 16s have Lidar?   Lidar sensors have appeared only in IPhone 16 Pro models with certain apps;   Hearing a click while searchings in Settings; Trouble with being stuck in App Library;  What is Dynamic Island?  A secondary display that appears at the top of the iPhone's screen to show alerts and active tasks;  IOS 18 will allow a sighted friend remote access and help resolve issues on FaceTime on iPhone;  Toggle Live Regions and Announcements in Roter; Is adding new Tracks in Memos only on IPhone IOS 18; Using Send Later for Email messeges; Changing Rotor voices and Languages; When and how should you shut down your IPad, can do it with SIRI or holding side buttons;  iBUG Bytes:  Desi:   Changes in Settings with update to IOS 18; Changes in the way your Apps are listed under a button called Apps at the bottom of Settings;   Changes in searching the Apps in Settings

    Facilitator:   Brad  Topics:  Did anyone get any new iPhone or any IOS devices, issue with new iPad Air with SIRI not going off when turning the iPad off,  SIRI is a virtual assistance either with pressing the Home button or with your voice, it will stay active unless phone is turned off,  and Voice Over is a screen reader and is used to interact with your IPhone; Issues with finding a text massages starting to come through iPad; The updated IOS 18 appears to show old messages coming back; issues with updating to IOS 18 on iPhones and iPads; issues with automatic updates effecting files;  Issues with updating and making folders for apps;  Turning tips on or off; Using Apple Music or Apple Podcasts, which plan is the better one, which plan offers no ads;  Having issues with changing languages on iPhone with a 2022 Logitech external keyboard, can change the keyboards on bottom lower left of iPhone;  Which iPhone 16 would you recommend for better screen input and better signal? iBUG Bytes:  Shortcuts used to get to the top of your email or text messages or any app using your finger Gestures. Using the shortcut: place finger in the status bar strip, the strip is located on the top of every screen. Itoys:  Demo by Brad: IOS Airpods; different generations, added features for each; Different Call controls; Pros and cons;   What is Audio Spatial? Software dependent, must be enabled, When you're listening to something on an IOS device, depends on what content you're listening to, sound will shift from the direction where you are listening from in the room, no Spacial Audio use for YouTube.
