Garden of Doom E.223 Encounters of a Lifetimes
The Shaws are married and share lifetimes of experiences with extraterrestrials. These occurred both before and after they met. One is a retired health care professional, while the other is a journalist. We discuss their shared and separate experiences. Moreover, it seems there might be an ancestral tie to the alien's focus on Mr. Shaw. We explore crafts, physical descriptions, and communication methods. There are also certain frightening theories. The word "harvesting" arose.

Garden of Doom E.222 A Shining
Sean BW Parker has been and around the arts his entire life. After spending 10 years in Turkey, he returned to England and opened a concert venue with a bed & breakfast planned. This was on the Southern coast of England. This venture lasted only a number of months. There was dissension within the investors. They faced regulatory, legal and neighbor problems. Did I mention the ghosts? Turns out, the place was haunted. Sean and others experienced sounds, slamming, thrown glasses, propelled wall clocks, and coordinated shutters and outdoor doors slamming on repeat. Parker is a self described skeptic and is the author of 9 books. The paranormal is not his jam. But it was his life.

Garden Views E.76 Almost: The Horror Story
Don't fear my first words, this is Garden Views. My guest is Edo Van Belkhom has been a working writer. He's been compared to Stephen King. He won the Bram Stoker award once and was nominated another time. He's won the Canadian Aurora Award. There are others. he wrote erotica and stories for truckers supported by the trucking industry (yes, 2 different gigs). Some of his works were adapted for a television series starring Sarah Michelle Geller. He's almost been a household name more than once. Maybe he still will be. His compedium of short stories is being re-published to celebrate its 25 year anniversary. I started down the Doom road as I expected to focus on the horrors of his imagination. We touched on those of course. But the real tale was his. A writer, working and toiling, and having success in a variety of places, while just missing the big score.

Garden of Doom E.221 Future Star
Jamie Chambers is a British actor who's featured in a lot of current films in the horror and sci-fi genres. He's been a heavy gun stormtrooper in Star Wars 7 and lots of other funs things you've seen and will (House of the Dragon). We talk about everything. From the business aspects, to SAG and the UK equivalent, to the employment status per project. But we also talk about comics, movies and pretty much everything. No, we never spoke or met before. Yes, we might be best friends now. Apologies to all, somehow the cyber gods did not allow us to use any version of the promised outro.

Garden of Doom E. 220 Annubis Chronicles
If you took "True Blood", some of "American Gods", and tossed in some "Eternals", and shook them up in a snowglobe you purchased at Giza, you might get this book as the result. Yvonne Garcia Zaher wrote "The Annubis Chronicles" and Book One Origins is the first installment. There are gods, demigods, vampires, demons, werewolves (lots of werewolves), witches, shape shifters, elves, dark elves, star travellers, dragons, politics, criminals, cops, children of light, and crows. They all play parts in a story that starts with broken, dead bodies in the desert, but leads to prophecies that could end all supernaturals on Earth. Probably all magic. Maybe end humanity. Maybe end the gods themselves. It's a lot to unpack. Hear from the author.
