    Reason Packers Lost / Harbor Clean up / Vaccine Progress / Summerfest going to be cancelled, again?

    This weeks topics include: The real reason the Packers lost, plus why Arron Rodgers isn’t leaving anytime soon. Why the vaccine effort was failing, and how we’ve begun to catch up with the rest of the nation. A $400 million initiative to clean up the MKE harbor has been long over do. A new form of public transportation could provide huge benefits to hundreds. Summerfest could easily be cancelled yet again, and it won’t be because of the virus.

    Fans at Lambeau / Packer playoff run feels different / Attention on recent violence / MKE > ORD

    This week, Luke spend time discussing this week’s Packer game. He was very happy that he heard few complaints about the Packers allowing 9,000 fans in the stands. He hypothesizes the reason for this, and explains why this attitude is applicable to everything in the times of COVID. Also in regards to the Packer game, Luke explains why this year’s playoff run feels different. Secondly, Luke discusses the recent Milwaukee leader’s press conference regarding the uptick in violence. He explains why it’s great to divert attention to such a problem, but hard to take peoples deep concern seriously given the recent events. Finally, Luke provides listeners with a yet another reason why they should not to fly out of Chicago O’Hare International Airport. Other topics include; Art festival in Deer District; MKE-area home sales go through the roof.

    This week, Luke comments on Wisconsin’s very slow Vaccine roll out. After rankings 2nd slowest in the Midwest, he questions why there is continued delay in getting the vaccine into people arms. People are suffering while health officials have had months to prepare a plan. Secondly, he explains why the latest Kenosha protest remained peaceful. With below freezing temperatures and snow on the ground, the protesters were local residents who deeply cared about the issues at hand. Lastly, a recent affordable housing boom provides hope that Milwaukee will able to temper its nation title; Most segregated city in the country. Other topics include; More armed protests at capital, and why this is predictable; Visit Milwaukee gives leftover DNC money to businesses, New movie “set” in Milwaukee. Listen and subviene today.

    This week, Luke discusses the power struggle between the MKE Heath department and private and charter schools. He explains why such dynamic exists, and why this is really not unfair to any parties involved. Secondly, he discusses the COVID Vaccine drama, and what the bigger issues at hand is. To celebrate the New year, Luke has fun and examines the core aspects of MKE life in the coming year. How have the events in 2020, affected them, and which are trending up or down. Luke pretends to be your stock broker and tells you what parts of life to buy and which parts to sell. Other topics include; Kenosha braces for more violence; Monolith in Tosa raises questions to a possible alien invasion.

    This week, Luke reacts to the biggest news of the decade: Giannis signing a Supermax extension to stay in Milwaukee. Though his prior take was wrong, the decision makes a lot of sense. He also explains why this is such a big win, and why the Buck, City of Milwaukee, and Giannis still have work to do. Next, Luke explains why the police chief debacle is so damming, and it not because there are five different police chiefs. Lastly, Luke determines if Milwaukee is an attractive city? There are seven characteristics that make a city attractive. Does Milwaukee check the boxes? Additional topics include; MKE Mitchell Airports unfortunate situation and how they are making the best of it; American Family Stadium is official; Weed-themed restaurant coming to Milwaukee.

    Brewing back in MKE / COVID violence continues / MKE population increasing? / Giannis is gone

    This week Luke discusses news that MolsonCoors, the parent company of Miller brewing, is moving its North American corporate headquarters to Milwaukee WI. This news is great as it bring jobs to the area while also reaffirming Milwaukee’s identity. He would like to see Milwaukee and other Midwest cities to gain more of a national identity, which will benefit the cities. Secondly, Luke discusses three violent incidents that reflect modern society. COVID lockdowns seem to be a continued cause of these type of incidents. Finally, Luke argues WI relaxed COVID rules, and MKE’s reasonable COVID strategy may be pulling people to the area. Can Milwaukee and Southeastern WI benefit when it’s all said and done? Other topics include; Continued dysfunction in quest to find new MPD Chief; New police policies; Giannis will leave Milwaukee barring a crazy series of events; Milwaukee’s Lifetime movie debut was a joke.

    This week, Luke reacts to the pure disfunction of the Milwaukee Police and Fire Commission. He breaks down the top characteristics he would look for in the new MPD chief. He hopes the eventual Police Chief is able to overcome the utter dysfunction of Police oversight board. Secondly, Luke questions the logic of keeping schools closed after a recent meal at a restaurant. His opinion is shared with Dr. Anthony Fauci. Luke also explains why the Bucks are starting to appear incompetent as we all eagerly wait for Giannis to sign the Superman extension. Lastly, MKE is a cruise destination. Without tooting Milwaukee’s horn to much, Luke celebrates the Port’s newest visitors.

    This week, Luke discusses Waukesha’s new source of water. He explains why this is extremely big news and why the Great Lakes Watershed is the coolest club on earth. Secondly, Luke discusses the looming Eviction crisis. With hundreds on Milwaukeeans already on the streets, Milwaukee must do something to counter the upcoming disaster. He also explains why housing is a important factor in upward mobility and escaping poverty. Other topics include; Candy Cane Lane is a GO; Bucks use Hoan Bridge to announce Uniform color scheme; MCTS adds Rapid Bus Line; MKE County sets another bad record.
