Street Wisdom is an everyday creative practice you use as you walk. A smart fusion of mindfulness, neuroscience and wellness, it unlocks our minds and unblocks our creativity with every step.
Suddenly every street is full of inspiration. And whatever our questions, we are finding answers are everywhere.
We’ve distilled this rich practice into a playlist of 5 short audio tracks you can stream. Just find a street, pop in your earphones and explore. You can use them in sequence or as a standalone exercise to form a daily practice.
Take a deeper dive into Street Wisdom with one of our free local events, led around the world, or an online WalkShop. Find out more and get involved at streetwisdom.org. Also, stay up to date and tag us in photos of your wander on socials: @streetwisdom_

Street Wisdom | Start Here
Most of us are looking for better ways to live, to work, to love, to learn. The problem is we get so busy and so focussed on what’s in front of us that we can miss the delicious alternatives that lie in the life’s side roads.
Founder David Pearl introduces Street Wisdom and this series of short practices. You can use them in your daily routine to find inspiration all around you.
Use each step individually for a 5 minute wander or use them collectively if you’d like to find answers to a question on your mind. Enjoy!

Street Wisdom | Step 1 : Let‘s Get Curious
Lets Get Curious.
The first of three, cumulative practices that help you tune into the world around you and get the creative conversation with your surroundings really flowing.
For most of us, the thinking happens in our heads, this practice helps you to use your whole body as a navigation system.
So when we put our questions out there into the world, the whole of us - not just our intellect - is able to sense up the answers.

Street Wisdom | Step 2 : Take Your Time
Take Your Time.
The second of three short practices we have developed to tune up your senses so you can tune in to the world around you.
Most of us would like more time - particularly to do the things we want to do.
This exercise helps you to take control of the pace of your life. So you can find space in the gaps between the tasks. And time to breathe even on the busiest day.

Street Wisdom | Step 3 : Lighting Up Life
Lighting Up Life
The third and final practice to help awaken your senses. There’s real power in choosing to be where you are at this very moment, because that’s really the only time we are alive.
This exercise helps you to sense the beauty in your surroundings, even what doesn’t seem beautiful at first.
Take some time to choose appreciation.

Street Wisdom | The Quest
This step is the heart of the Street Wisdom practise, where you are going to use all that lovely sensitivity running through your neurology and put it to use.
It’s ideal if you do each of the other practices in turn before you begin.
In this step you are going to ask a question and see what answers the street gives back to you.
Founder David Pearl will guide you through the process. Take a minimum of 15 minutes for this step.
