Giro d'Italia Stage 20 (Alpago - Bassano del Grappa): The final GC shakedown as Pogačar is imperious to follow in the footsteps of Coppi and Merckx. Wiebes tightens SD Worx's grip on RideLondon Classique, and we rattle through everything else in a bumper racing round-up.

Giro d'Italia Stage 19 (Mortegliano - Sappada): Vendrame, then drama. Decathlon bag a second stage win, while the GC guys throw Geraint a bone after he sticks himself on the deck in the final five K. Wiebes returns to RideLondon and picks up where she left off, Nico rides himself into the white jersey on Mount Fuji and tells us about it, and we cover EIGHTEEN other races. If it happened today: it's on here!

1238: 22nd May 2024
Giro d'Italia Stage 17 (Selva di Val Gardena - Passo Brocon): The Radness of King Georg sees Groundpog Day avoided on the final summit finish of la corsa rosa, with Steinhauser getting away on his second move of the day and taking his maiden professional win, while Pellizzari continues to win Italian hearts by taking the Cima Coppi and riding himself into blue (albeit borrowed), but Pogačar still reminds his GC rivals who's best. ELSEWHERE: Brown starts her Bretagne Ladies Tour defence in fine fashion, Hobbs and FDJ mop-up the late Bardiani break in the Rhône-Alpes, Saint Piran add a sixth UCI win to their palmares in Japan as the break stays away, and we have a peek at action in Albania, Algeria, Mali and over at the Rás as Ireland's biggest race begins.

1237: 21st May 2024
Giro d'Italia Stage 16 (Laas - Monte Pana): A weather-beaten peloton tackle a shorter stage to start the final week of racing, and Pogačar leaves it late to put Pellizzari in his place and claim his quintet as the Stelvio and Umbrailpass are chopped from the parcours. Elsewhere, we have a quick message from Nicolas Vinokurov - one of Astana Qazaqstan CEO and 2012 Olympic Champion Alexandre's twin sons - as we catch-up with Tour of Japan.

1236: 20th May 2024 (Lucas Towers)
Monday Meets: On the second Giro rest day we speak to Lucas TOWERS (Caja Rural - Alea) who is enjoying a fine spell of form in Navarre as a Rayner Foundation-supported rider. Lucas joins us fresh from back-to-back wins, so we chat about taking unfinished business into a race to earn your very own txapela, the joy of oats and messy teamhouses, and not letting your sister get one-up on you.
