The great gatsby is a novella written by American writer f. Scott Fitzgerald and set in New York City and long island in the 1920s. It was published in 1925.

Gatsby Ben was a poor farmer's boy in North Dakota who grew up dreaming of being somebody. After some hard work, he rose through the ranks and changed his name to jay gatsby. His only wish was to see his lover Daisy, who had been separated for five years. When they met again, gatsby thought he could go back in time and renew his old dream. As time went by, he found that Daisy was far from being the person he had dreamed of.
