    139. From Bottle Service to Boundaries: Things I Do Differently in My 30s vs. My 20s [BIRTHDAY EDITION!]

Grab an iced coffee—or an espresso martini if you’re feeling bold—in honor of Kellie’s birthday, because this episode is a full-on celebration of growth, glam, and the glow-up that comes with turning the page on a new decade. On this special edition of “Why Not Do Both,” Kellie spills all the ways her 30s are different from her 20s—and she’s keeping it real, hilarious, and a little sentimental. She dives into styling with intention (going 100% glam when she’s “on” and unapologetically embracing sweatpants, rest, and solo time when she’s “off”), and how she traded a big, bottle-service crowd for a small circle of soulmates. Expect some laughs about her all-yellow 21st AND 31st birthday bash—was it fabulous or just… a lot?—and some honest talk about why intimacy now beats scale every time. Kellie opens up about letting go of control, setting boundaries like a boss, and discovering that asking for help is actually a power move. She shares why the word “no” has become her favorite tool for protecting her peace and how regular time audits keep her energy, money, and calendar aligned with what truly matters. Whether you’re approaching a milestone birthday or just need a reminder that evolving is part of the magic, this episode is your invitation to grow with grace, laugh at the lessons, and toast to the future.  And because it’s Kellie’s big day, she’s sending you a little birthday wish too: May your next season be full of clarity, confidence, and just the right amount of champagne (or espresso martinis). Cheers, friends—let’s #doboth, and let’s do it well.  Screenshot your favorite takeaway from the episode & share on IG stories, wishing our host the happiest of birthdays!

    138. SPECIAL EDITION!! Not Healing Trauma, Building Resilience: How to tear down the Prison Walls around your Purpose (LIVE Somatic Exercise ft. Keri Ford)

What if the stress you’ve normalized isn’t normal? In this Special Edition, Kellie sits down with Keri Ford—former Creative Director turned elite advisor to some of the world’s most influential women, and CEO & Founder of Elevate with Keri—to explore how resilience, nervous system regulation, and leadership intersect. Keri has shared stages with leading neuroscientists and thought leaders, worked with celebrities like Alison Sweeney, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Kaley Cuoco, and was named one of the Top 100 Global Visionaries and 2024’s Most Empowering Women’s Transformational Coaches. Through her signature Somatic Success® methodology, she helps driven women expand their potential while cultivating peace, profit, and sustainable success. In this episode, she doesn’t just talk about nervous system regulation—she leads Kellie through a LIVE somatic exercise to demonstrate how we can shift the stories our bodies hold. That’s why this episode is a Special Edition: it’s not theory, it’s practice. Together, Kellie and Keri unpack what it really takes to balance ambition with pressure, and how to move past invisible barriers that keep women trapped in cycles of stress. Keri shares why the goal isn’t healing trauma but building resilience, and how to tear down the prison walls around your purpose so you can expand into your full capacity. Kellie also opens up about the weight of rebranding the podcast, becoming more vulnerable on the mic, and navigating both support and scrutiny along the way. This conversation goes deeper than pageantry, titles, or external success. It’s about rewriting the semantic story your nervous system tells, creating safety within, and cultivating the resilience to lead yourself and others with strength. 137. Life as a Commanding Officer: Strong Enough to Lead, Human Enough to Care (ft. LTC Amanda Pelkowski, US Air Force, Commanding Officer)

What does it really mean to do both—to be human and be in command? Command can feel intimidating, but this conversation is for young leaders who dream of taking command—or doubt they can. The truth? You absolutely can. In this episode, Kellie sits down with LTC Amanda Pelkowski, an Air Force Academy graduate whose 17-year career has included deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, and the UAE, a tour at the Pentagon, and two command assignments—most recently as Commander of the 1st Special Operations Force Support Squadron at Hurlburt Field, Florida. Drawing on her experiences leading across the globe, Amanda shares honest insights and practical tips for both aspiring and current commanders: why command is a team sport, when it’s okay to be the sledgehammer, and the importance of addressing problems head-on. She reflects on what she would have done differently, the power of a supportive partner, and the challenge of balancing marriage with the demands of leadership. From the hard work leaders owe their people to the nuances of leading on social media, Amanda shows that effective leadership is about more than authority—it’s about blending strength and humanity. 135. Motherhood Meets Million-Dollar Mindset: Raising Billions, Raising Daughters (ft. Veena Jetti, Founder of Vive Funds)

Kellie sits down with Veena Jetti, powerhouse investor, philanthropist, and founder of Vive Funds — a trailblazer who has transacted on over $1B in real estate and led the largest women-led deal in history. But Veena is quick to remind us that her story isn’t about being “self-made” — it’s about being team-made, fueled by grit, resourcefulness, and the courage to take risks that others shy away from. This fiery conversation tackles privilege head-on — why acknowledging it doesn’t diminish hard work, how mentorship and support make success possible, and why women don’t have to play the “misery Olympics” of comparing who has it harder. Veena opens up about raising twin daughters while building an empire, rejecting the notion that motherhood slows women down, and instead using it as fuel to shift priorities, teach resilience, and model boldness. She shares how she is intentional about teaching her girls gratitude, consent, and the courage to fail — because the way a mother speaks to her daughters becomes their inner voice for life. Veena’s motherhood journey is about mindset work, fearlessness, and inspiring her twins (and women everywhere) to #DoBoth — to lead, to nurture, to build, and to rise without apology. Her billion-dollar track record may have made headlines, but it’s her boldness, honesty, and fire that make her unforgettable. Show Notes~ Social media: @VeenaJetti  Enjoyed this episode? 134. Pageant Secrets Judges Won’t Tell You (But I Will): Why Most Contestants Lose Before They Even Walk on Stage (as a 5x Pageant contestant, 2x State Judge!)

The Pageant Tea You’ve Been Waiting For!! The advice no one tells you about competing in pageants—I’m spilling the tea from behind the judge’s table. After judging Miss Michigan USA and Miss Ohio Volunteer, I saw the same mistakes and the same winning qualities show up in both systems. I competed in five Miss USA state pageants across Ohio, California, and Illinois. I was a 5x semifinalist, 2x finalist, runner-up at Miss California USA, a best overall swimsuit/fitness winner, and a 5x Miss Congeniality. And yet… after judging two different pageant systems in two different states, honestly, I would have competed completely differently if I knew then what I know now. In this episode, I spill the tea on: The biggest mistakes I saw contestants repeat in both systemsWhy professional hair and makeup are (unfortunately) non-negotiableThe importance of your headshot AND your styling! The interview strategies that separate the winners from everyone else What made me sit up and take notice as a judge—and what instantly lost meThe similarities across systems that no one talks aboutWhat made me lose interest QUICKWhat instantly caught my eye as a judge!!If you’re serious about competing, this is the kind of perspective most people will never tell you. This isn’t the polished advice you hear from coaches—it’s the unfiltered judge’s POV. If you’re competing, this is what you need to hear before you walk on stage. 133. Leading without Losing Yourself: Learning to Blend ALL sides of yourself to Lead Authentically (A LIVE coaching session ft. Rosie Noel, Executive Leadership Coach)

What does it really look like to lead while honoring every version of yourself—creative, structured, empathetic, direct? Rosie Noel is an executive coach who helps leaders integrate who they are with how they lead. In this live coaching session, she works with host Kellie Sbrocchi to navigate one of the most complex parts of leadership: blending multiple identities without diluting any of them. As a Naval officer, influencer, event host, and leader, Kellie has long wrestled with the question—can you really do both? Throughout their session, Rosie helps Kellie unpack what it means to lead with both authority and relatability, to set boundaries without hardening, and to bring her full self to work while growing in visibility and responsibility. Together, they explore how having harder conversations earlier can be an act of care, and why doing both doesn’t mean doing everything all at once. This conversation also confronts the belief that you need to be someone else to be taken seriously, and instead offers a leadership model rooted in authenticity, alignment, and self-trust. Rosie’s guidance challenges outdated expectations and helps redefine what strong, intentional leadership truly looks like. For anyone who has been told they’re too much or not enough to lead, this episode offers a powerful reminder: you don’t have to choose between being warm and being taken seriously. There is strength in showing up fully, and power in honoring all sides of yourself. 132. Confidence Below the Surface: How I Balance Life, Leadership, and My Own Ambitions as One of the First Women on a Navy Submarine (ft. LCDR Andrea Howard, U.S. Navy Submariner & MIT PhD Student)

Feeling empowered and confident as a leader can be challenging—now imagine navigating that journey inside a steel tube under the sea. Life on a submarine is daunting, mysterious, and something most of us know nothing about. LCDR Andrea Howard shares how she found confidence in her own way—and what that looks like 1,000+ feet below the surface. In this episode, Andrea gives us a peek into “a day in the life” on a submarine, explains how she’s turned her self-described “nerdiness” into a leadership superpower, and why specificity is key to truly connecting with people. We dive into spheres of influence, the importance of carving out time for yourself, and what it means to create an unconventional version of balance in a high-stakes career. LCDR Andrea Howard is a history-making leader in the U.S. Navy, one of the first fifteen female Executive Officers in the submarine force, and the Navy’s 2025 Arthur S. Moreau Scholar. She’s also a PhD student at MIT and has served as Navigator and Operations Officer on USS South Dakota and USS New Jersey, where she helped deliver the first fast-attack submarine designed for gender integration to the Fleet. (Oh, and she also won the 2023 CAPT Joy Bright Hancock Leadership Award… no big deal.) Andrea’s story is proof that you can break barriers, build credibility, and still do things on your own terms—in and out of uniform.
