G'Day!  In Episode 5 of Season 4, we welcomed our sunniest guest yet, Nao-san from Brisbane-based tour operator Australian Sunset Safaris. Nao-san's journey began in Canada but she opted for sunny Queensland to further her education and was lucky enough to translate an internship into a career with the company. Nao-san is also busy reforming her apartment on her weekends off and that has taught her some interesting Aussie English that she shares on the episode so please take a listen!

In this episode, we chat with Yoko-san who left behind her life in Japan to live in Queensland, her home for the past twenty years. In the beginning, she did not have advanced English ability but managed to forge her own life, family and career as a beautician in Brisbane. 今回のポッドキャストでは、なんと正三とポールが出張中のゴールドコーストで制作チームからインタビューを受けています。5月1日～4日にかけて日本を含む32カ国から2,500人以上の参加者が、Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) 2023のためにゴールドコーストで開催されました。オーストラリア全土からゴールドコーストに集まった観光業界に従事している人たちと43,000件のアポイントメントを終え、名の通り「観光交流」の場になりました。世界最大級の旅行商談会なのでゴールドコーストで行われるのが誇らしいことですが、コンベンションセンターの端から端まで歩くのも中々大変でした。しかし、晴天に恵まれたゴールドコーストで、多くの新旧の友人とリアルに会うことができたのは、とてもよかったと思います！

Welcome back to Sunset Q.L.D. for the 1st episode of Season Four. In this episode, we chat with Kinuko-san who is currently working on a sweet potato farm in Bundaberg. Kinuko-san is currently pursuing her dream of living and working overseas in Queensland. After a six month stint working at a gelato shop in Brisbane, she chose to work in Bundaberg in order to earn her 2nd working holiday visa. She also talks about her favourite spots in Brisbane and Springbrook National Park and introduces two new Aussie English phrases so enjoy the listen!

第12回目のエピソードでは、TAFE Queenslandに勤務するニック・タニさんにお話を伺いました。TAFEは、職業訓練学校のことです。ニックさんは苗字の通り日本人ですが、5歳の時にご両親がブリスベンに引っ越してきたため、すっかりオージーです。TAFEの学生はほとんどがオーストラリア人ですが、ゴールドコーストでは入学する日本人が増えているそうです。では、ニックさんのお話をお聞きください。
In our latest episode, we chat with Nick Tani, who works for TAFE Queensland. TAFE provides vocational training for those wanting to learn a trade like carpentry or want to become a barista. As his surname suggests, Nick is Japanese but as his parents moved to Brisbane when he was five, he is very much an Aussie now! TAFE is very popular among Australians but the number of Japanese enrolling on the Gold Coast is increasing so please listen to learn more.
