    12. Our Twelfth Survivor Pod - 41's 11th Episode - Do... or Die!

    In this weeks episode of Survivor Jeff said, "Tonight, if Deshawn lives, then we have a normal vote and somebody goes home. If Deshawn dies, then he's out and there is no vote." In response, Dalton Ross at EW said, "Wait, if Deshawn dies?????? Are they now killing people on Survivor?! Does this have something to do with that "Monster" Probst kept talking about? I know this season has been heavy on the twists, but killing contestants does seem a bit much. How about instead of dropping the four and keeping the one, we try to keep all of the players in one piece, shall we? I mean... the fact that Deshawn fought to keep someone in the game that the producers have done everything in their power to keep off our screens doesn't exactly seem like grounds for on-air murder. Also, if he dies, there is no vote, but the game continues?! Doesn't that seem like grounds for canceling the rest of the season? What the hell is going on here? Am I watching the freakin' Squid Game ?!" Anna and I do not disagree!!!

    11. Our Eleventh Survivor Pod - 41's 10th Episode - BETRAYL!

    As Dalton Ross said in his EW article, "The Thanksgiving eve episode proves you don’t need idols or advantages to make riveting TV." We couldn't agree more! He went on to say, "THIS IS NOT WOKE SURVIVOR! THIS IS CLASSIC SURVIVOR! When Deshawn talks about the 'duality' of wanting to play with Black players but also wanting to play for himself, that is a clear and vivid example of the push and pull of wanting to win but also wanting to win "the right way" that players have struggled with since the show began over 20 years ago. Can you win in a game built around lying and deceit and still stay true to yourself?" So much good TV this week! Anna and I will amateurly break it down for y'all!!!

    9. Our Ninth Survivor Pod - 41's 8th Episode

    And I am going to shout out Dalton Ross from EW again, by quoting from his brilliant weekly recap, "The latest episode offers concrete proof that there is actually a person named Heather playing the game. Well, I guess we all know who Heather is now. Poor Heather. There are a few people I feel really terrible for each and every Survivor season. There's the first person voted out. That has to suck. There's the person voted out right before the merge — another super sucky spot to go since the entire game can be flipped on its head the day after you were voted out. And I also lament the poor contestant each season who goes out and plays the game and then comes back to the United States excited for all their friends and family to watch their adventure… only to barely ever make it onto screen." Oh yes today Heather will speak and more importantly, Anna and I will speak about the 9th episode of Survivor 41!
