This is one of the main reasons why I like bbc
Excellent!
I am enjoying season two ,the Apollo 13 story as much as the story of the moon landing told in season one. Some of the greatest stories of science and adventure from the 20th century. The interviews with the people involved in the Apollo program puts these podcasts in a league of there own!
Outstanding.
I was coming up to 12-years old when Armstrong took that historic first step on the moon. I have marvelled at the cosmos ever since, and now my breathe has been further taken away by the most extensive, informative and gripping account of the USA getting to the moon I have ever encountered.
13 Minutes to the Moon is a BBC masterpiece, and I’d like to thank everyone who worked on making this magnificent programme. Listening to actual footage of so many people, which lead to the momentous events on July 20th, is simply awe inspiring.
This brilliant series is unparalleled in its detailed coverage. A must listen if you a need comprehensive account of the events that led to those historic first steps on the moon.
