Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend

I love listening to the show while I walk to work...great interviews and hilarious banter. I live in Japan, and the show helps me keep in touch with what's going on in the US...not only with current events, but with the pulse of American culture! Alison represents, for me, the sassy, funny, intelligent journalist that we all long for in our lives. The Kim-JonesMosses have taught me that Mormons aren’t all that bad. Greg has taught me that surfer/producers... aren’t all that bad. I love Chef Jeff’s drops, a reference to audio production and not to poop. Daniel says all the things that I wish I could say to my wife. One criticism of the show would be the pronunciation of Japanese words. For example, they talked about the current queen of tidiness Marie Kondo in one show. There are only five vowel sounds in Japanese, and they’re all short except for /o/. So, Marie Kondo would be /ma ri e kOn dO/, each syllable pronounced without elongation unless specified. Anyway, if you want a correspondent in Japan, give me a holler. Arigato- gozaimasu!
