    Today, Nicole Ryan Suppes RDN, LDN joins us on Episode 15 on Conversations with Cam. Nicole graduated from The University of Akron with a B.S. in Dietetics and became a board-certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She has over a decade of combined experience working in the food and nutrition industry. She founded Good Soul Nutrition on the principle that perfection doesn’t exist—they want to create a new conversation around health, one that is empowering. Good Soul Nutrition provides nutrition consulting services for corporations and school districts and additionally takes on clients focusing on food freedom, intuitive eating, and medical nutrition therapy for chronic disease. 

    In Episode 15, we have a MUCH needed conversation about body image, the diet industry that is worth over $72 billion, and how to combat it by starting the conversation. We go into Nicole's journey with body image and her mission in creating Good Soul Nutrition based on the principles of intuitive eating and the health at every size approach.     Episode 14 || Empowering Others & Self- Love with International Junior Miss Taiwan Jasmine Ma

    Today, Jasmine Ma is joining us in Episode 14 of Conversations with Cam. Jasmine is currently 25 and was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and later moved to the United States. She graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, and currently works as a product manager in the engineering resins industry. She is also International Junior Miss Taiwan, the founder of As I Am - a women's empowerment movement, and a signed commercial print model and actress. In her free time, you can find her at home in Los Angeles, California with her two fluffy cats, Totoro and Haku.

    In Episode 14, we cover how Jasmine finds self-love & confidence in the modeling and pageant world – along with how she dealt with comparison in that field. She founded @AsIAm_Org as a way for women to share their joys and struggles while amplifying and affirming their voices – especially of Black, Indigenous, and other women of color. We talk about the rise in Asian Hate Crimes and how to support these marginalized communities. When she was 20, she wrote her first book, Beyond the Title: Women in Journalism & Media. Additionally, she is a Social Media Intern for Viacom CBS!

    In Episode 13, we cover how Lauren breaks the mental health stigma herself and how she navigated her mental health journey during the pandemic. From going to therapy to being an advocate for others, Lauren has learned a lot in the last few years.     Today, Anna Whitaker joins us on Episode 12 on Conversations with Cam. Anna Whitaker is 22 years old and was born in San Antonio Texas, although she moved eleven times when she was younger. In May, Anna graduated from Anderson University in South Carolina with a BA in Christian Studies. She just moved to Durham, North Carolina with her husband Bates, where she will pursue a Master of Theological Studies at Duke Divinity School.

    We cover a lot of topics in this episode, from purpose to bees. We go through Anna's mental health journey, covering her internal pressure to be perfect, to finally finding her worth through her faith and therapy. Anna & Bates got married at 19, and we talk about growth within their relationship and how they complimented each other.     Today, Kelly Wiesenhan joins us for Episode 11 of Conversations with Cam. Kelly Wiesehan has been journaling for over ten years, chronicling the chaos of growing up. The infamous year of 2020 pushed her to finally sit down and compile her richest excerpts from diaries that span ages twelve to twenty-two. Small Legs, Big Teeth: A Prequel of Something Yet to Come is Kelly’s honest, humorous, and effervescent ode to the lessons she’s learned so far and a toast to what’s to come. Kelly graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2021 with a degree in Communication Design and Marketing. She recently started her first job in STL and is excited for this next chapter.

    In episode 11, we cover Kelly's journey from writing to publishing her first book, and how she needed to give herself internal validation during this process instead of seeking it elsewhere.     Today, Amber Schildwachter joins us on Episode 10 of Conversations with Cam. Amber is 22 years old and is originally from South Florida. She just recently graduated from the University of Florida with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology where she was involved in her sorority Zeta Tau Alpha. She is now moving to Hawaii to complete her Doctorate in Psychology from Chaminade University.

    Amber was born with an anxiety disorder—selective mutism. Selective mutism is where a person is unable to speak in certain social situations. For Amber, this was normally at school with her teachers and classmates, or strangers like her psychologist. We talk about her journey with selective mutism, and how she was able to find her voice through therapy and support from those closest to her. We also talk about her move to Hawaii, and what Amber does to check in with her mental health now. Amber, thank you so much for being on the podcast and for your vulnerability!!
