2020 was a challenging year that tested the limits of humanity with the ongoing global pandemic and violence against BIPOC communities. The year was marked by the senseless deaths George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and many others, leading to Black Lives Matter protests and increased harassment and violence towards AAPI folx. Therefore, 2020 is a year of racial reckoning and a call for unity. Importantly, major events presented an opportunity to organize and to act. This podcast was inspired by the idea that together, we can impact change by reaching across the aisle, one conversation at a time.
