Grass racing abounds at this time of year and so this week's Key Races and Bets covers three of the great turf races around the country - the Pennine Ridge at Belmont at the Big A, the Cliff Hanger at Monmouth and the Mr. Steele Stakes at Gulfstream Park.

A sequence of three awesome races at Belmont at the Big A (Aqueduct) make up this week's Key Races and Bets. We start with a wide open race on the turf and continue with the Peter Pan Stakes (often a prep for the Belmont Stakes) and the Man o'War Stakes at one mile and three-eighths on the grass.

This week's Key Races & Bets brings you five races, starting with the Westchester Stakes in New York and the Kentucky Oaks on Friday. Moving to Saturday, the Honey Ryder Stakes and English Channel Stakes Gulfstream Park are likely to be two exciting races on the grass, and of course the race of the week, the Kentucky Derby, rounds out this weeks races.

This week's Key Races include races for three year olds on the grass at Aqueduct (New York) in the Woodhaven and at Woodbine in the Star Shoot Stakes. The San Francisco Mile on the grass at Golden Gate features a full field of 12 and should be a superb race as well.

This week's Key Races and Bets covers the three superb turf races which make up the Turf Pick 3. This is a three race sequence of all turf races where you can win if you correctly select the winners of all three, like a three team parlay in sports, but in this case you can use more than one horse in each race. One of the races is the Grade 3 Elkhorn Stakes, a mile and one-half marathon, and all three races have good potential for profit.
