    *trigger warning - murder, rape

It's time for the world to make a change!  I dedicate this episode to my brother, Brenton James Neely.  As a person of color, he battled demons in life some of which were due to the systemic racism from broken systems that were meant to help him, but didn't.  It eventually lead to his death in 2013 by suicide.  Black Lives Matter...let's make a difference and make change happen!

    10. My Gratitude Journey to Healing

**Trigger warning - talk of suicide, PTSD, grief, anxiety and depression

This is me laying it all out on the table: the journey that went from terrifyingly ugly to beautiful and serene.  It's about the people who helped me through, the work I had to devote to myself, for myself that made it all possible.  I am proof that it can be done.  A year ago, I wanted to die!  Today, I embrace every day as a gift and I want to share that message with the world.

    8. Living with PTSD

    8. Living with PTSD

*trigger warning - talk of violence, abuse, suicide

The face of PTSD is not always who you think it is.  It is an ongoing injury that is happening to more and more people in the world with the rise of violence, acts of war and traumatic events and abuse.  Having an understanding of what it is, who can get it and how to help someone who it battling it can quite literally be a life saver!  Educate yourself whether it's for yourself or for a loved one; it can mean the difference between life and death.  This is my story.  Originally, I thought it wasn't going to have a happy ending, but my happy ending is just beginning!
