This conversation recorded at the end of 2021 is bitter sweet as it came a month before her she was hit by a vehicle in Girona which abruptly halted her season. When we chatted the excitement about moving to Girona, having a positive mindset and the dreams for the year ahead had us buzzing. Mark is a brother to me and someone I admire greatly. We've known each other for 30 years and discovering the joy of cycling together has brought another dimension to our brotherhood. I'm pretty sure it was his idea for us to do the London to Paris bike ride many moons ago!
