Become the Calming Presence Your Child Needs
> Document your favorite memories with Duncan and Stone's keepsake journals
Imagine, for a moment, someone whose presence makes you uneasy...NOT a fun thought! Now, imagine someone who makes you feel safe, secure, calm, and accepted...MUCH better! That's the presence our children desire and need to develop new skills and feel loved. On today's episode, we discuss how we can bring in the Calm Presence to our interactions with our children. Here are some questions to ask yourself:
1) What kind of presence would the people around me say I bring?2) Do I bring a calming presence to my children?3) How do I become someone whose presence is calming to the people around me?
The Mind of a Child explores early child development on a social, intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual level to equip parents to parent well. Information is tailored for children 8 and under BUT is relevant for all ages.

Developing a Parenting Plan and Effectively Communicating It to Your Children
> Check out Duncan and Stone's keepsake journals here and start documenting your favorite memories
Children desire structure, and as parents we can provide that for them through a plan, a schedule, and/ or a routine. HOWEVER, plans are hard to make, and life never seems to get less busy... On this episode, we discuss three helpful questions to ask when making a plan (below), how to communicate that plan effectively to your children, and how ultimately God's plan for our family, for us, and for the world is better than our plans.
Framework questions for developing a plan:1) What am I trying to accomplish each day but am unable to? 2) What are some things that I must get done each day for my family?3) What are some things that I must get done each day for me, so that I can be fully present with my family?
