Image ideals - the intersection of weight, race, gender, class and culture.

We are joined by some incredible panelists who chat about prevalent image ideals and their relationship to mental health and mental illness. You’ll be hearing from folks about their relationship to their bodies and minds, and how our culture reinforces harmful ideas about how we should treat and think about our bodies.
Our roundtable today also explores what the future of body positivity and neutrality might look like. And what they hope will change in our culture — in both our day-to-day lives and on a systems level.

    Men's Mental Health

Our first episode examines the different barriers men face in talking about and seeking support for their mental health and the different journeys men have taken to get to where they are now. We know that stigma about talking about mental health still prevents many men from reaching out when they need it, so we're also aiming for this conversation to help normalize men talking about their experiences.

*Content Warning* There are potentially distressing conversations that occur at the following times:
    Bullying: 9:55 - 12:10, 44:25 - 46:45
