We RAD DADS is a show and community dedicated to improving the lives of Dads who put their families first.
We are single dads, working dads we are stay-at-homes, step Dads, divorced, married, re-married, blended, military, religious, and non-religious Dads. Above all, we are caring and nurturing fathers who continually value and seek improvement for ourselves and other parents. We face our own struggles and seek to dominate them as a means to living a fulfilling life.

Each week we find entertainment and value as we get to know a new guest, understand their situation, explore their struggles and learn how to navigate life's challenges through retrospect and experience. It is through this process we aim to find and share wisdom that you can employ in your own life.

Please join us as we discover and distribute the value of first-hand experiences and insight told by those who are now living proof that you can too.

My Son's Mother Cori Richter; Our Story Part 2 of 2

My Son's Mother Cori Richter; Our Story Part 2 of 2

This is a very special episode for me, for We RAD DADS and hopefully for you as well.
This week I talk with my Son’s mom, Cori Richter.
It may sound odd to most of you however I am exceedingly pleased to finally have Cori on the show this week. This interview was one of the first I had envisioned when starting the We RAD DADS podcast and I knew if it were to ever happen, we would have come much farther than I ever thought possible.
Join us as we talk about our own backstory and thus the origins of We RAD DADS. There’s some pretty amazing truth spoken here and even to me- it’s clear that our journey is nothing short of an incredible series of challenges which were sometimes mishandled. Luckily for us, we each had the foresight, humility, faith and eventual forgiveness to arrive as who and where we are today. This is the ONLY way we share such an amazing co-parenting experience with our entire family.
Hear both sides of the story that even I didn't have the full story on. Learn about the good times, the bad times and all the hope, trust and eventual triumph of our family- so far. Join us for the beginnings, the breaking point and then the turning point into becoming such an awesome family- If I do say so myself.
I have a feeling that the good times are just beginning and I want the same for each and every single one of you as well.
So listen up and get to know OUR story as well as; hopefully, a turning point of your own.

Solid as a Rock with Ryan Hamilton

Solid as a Rock with Ryan Hamilton

Join me as I make a “return” to podcasting with my guest Ryan Hamilton of the Life of Dad. Ryan has endured some hard times starting with a rough relationship with his son’s mother which culminated in divorce, market crash and job loss - at the same time.
It got pretty rough for a while as Ryan contemplated ending all the suffering however he’s much stronger than that. Deciding instead to fight he was given the opportunity to work with friends in creating Life of Dad.
Join us for Geological euphemisms and plenty of great inspiration. Hear how Life of Dad saved this dad’s life and how raising an autistic son only heightened his desire to become an excellent co-parent and dad. Ryan’s secret to his success as a RAD DAD is working on himself in order to attain success in his own life, only then did he see progress in other areas.
Huge thanks to Ryan and the crew at Life of Dad for helping make this interview happen. If you want to know more about Life of Dad please check out the links below including the link where I was the featured guest on the Life of Dad podcast. Much thanks guys!
Intro and outro for this episode were created via Facebook Live and I’d love to feature YOU. Be sure to join the discussion at the We RAD DADS Facebook group.

February 14th the dreaded "Valentines Day"

February 14th the dreaded "Valentines Day"

I can't help but think of that Hardaway song "What is Love?"... you know the one from the "Night at the Roxbury" movie?

Well, at least I made you smile... probably.

Today's ep is a shot off the ol' hip. However I felt compelled to get it out there in a "timely" manner.
This is audio from a Facebook Live video and come to find out, my microphone wasn't working too well so I DO humbly apologize about the audio quality. Hopefully it isn't too cringeworthy to overlook the subject at hand.
    What is Love?

063 - Im still here... and so are you!

063 - Im still here... and so are you!

    We survived!
We survived the Holidays, We survived the New Year and we survived yesterday.
You know there was a time when I wasn't sure I'd survive and I'm guessing that you've been there too. Eventually I decided to take the step past just surviving and dare to dream of myself thriving. Then I started taking more steps and the process snowballed. I started thinking and talking differently. I approached every "problem" as an opportunity. I started associating myself with better people and very soon something magical happened... I started becoming a bette person- one whom things happened FOR; not someone whom things happened TO.
... and you can do the same.
I'm in a place where I didn't expect to be and I want to share it with you.
I can't tell you how much you all mean to me in this process. If I hadn't started WRD who knows where I'd be, or how miserable.
It's these little steps we take outside our comfort zones that really open our eyes; and world up to new possibilities and it's truly as worthwhile as it is terrifying.
    But it takes work.
The only question is: Are you willing to work for a better tomorrow?
