In this convo, Ashley Noz (host) and Aaron Johnson, Founder of Grief To Action, discuss the benefits of consensual, platonic touch and the impact it has on the nervous system. Aaron explains what touch plans are and how they can help release surpassed anger as well as the potential positive effects of touch on sleep, anxiety, depression, and dismantling trauma stories. Aaron shares his personal experience of not crying for 20 years and the transformative moment when he finally allowed himself to cry. We also learn about Aaron’s C.U.T. project and his passionate calling to train touch activists, promote healing through touch and normalize tender touch for Black men.
