    [Original airdate 6/4/24] Mary chats with author and apologist team Richard and Linda Nathan, who met in San Francisco in 1962, lived through the Sixties, and spent many years together in New Age mysticism before becoming Christians in 1976. Since then, they have taught numerous seminars and classes on discerning our times. They have authored the Omega Point Series of books, Lighthouse Trails booklets “The Cross and the Marijuana Leaf” and “Psychedelic Seduction: Drugging the World and the Church” which we explore in depth today, and have contributed a chapter in the Lighthouse book “A New Narrative for a New World”, a glossary of New Age Terms”. We take on as much as we can in an hour, from the culture of Big Pot which is bigger than ever - and creeping into the church at large. What is THC, CBD and what alarm bells should be going off? An endless source of "boomer humor", pot today bears little resemblance to the '50s-'70s version. We understand from Acts 20:28,"Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood." In other words, give attention to and devote thought to, leading like a shepherd - those God has put in your charge, because this flock of yours was purchased with the blood of Jesus. Mike takes no hostages as he delineates those issues such as good works, baptismal regeneration, and the bedrock issues that Roman Catholics have with the inerrancy of God's Word. We will talk about religious zeal without knowledge and the numbness of heart and soul that results in false hope and being inoculated to the truth.  Mike was a devout Roman Catholic for over 30 years, but that changed in 1981 while attending an evangelical seminar when he realized the Bible is the supreme authority for knowing truth. Until we go home to be with Jesus, we must live and do ministry in this world, under some sort of leadership. What will it be America? What will it be, church? We trust God with the outcome, of course - but we have civic responsibilities to uphold. So, a brief look today at the election regarding voting machine integrity. Then we go on to talking about the wider picture of Israel, that prophetic timepiece. Also discussed: a Russia/Iran military pact and how it will affect Israel; the world-changing recent BRICS summit and their closing Manifesto. What is BRICS and should we care in the West? A quick look at the dollar and how it is being weaponized by eastern nations, and then a look at censorship, and that elections have consequences far into the future, should the Lord tarry.     [Original airdate: 5/17/24] Mary Danielsen looks at yet another aspect of how multinational corporations and their "better living through science" mindset has continued to wreak havoc on the world. As if the origins of the inorganic chemical industry didn't bring enough grief - from 1854 right on up to Pfizer's Cov19 jab - they won't rest until they control the world's ability to produce enough food. It's amazing to consider the grace of God in providing for a world of billions - and all the food that is produced to accomplish just that. And yet the food is not unadulterated, as seen in the rising cost of keeping people healthy that seems to coincide with mass produced food. How did we get here? Monsanto is its name, now Bayer -  the company that gave us Zyklon-B gas for use in Nazi camps. It's a sin-sick world and today we connect some dots. "Big Farm" is here to stay.
