Moving Forward: A Conversation

In the days following the insurrection at the United States Capitol building, my friend Rev. Melanie Eyre called to talk. Wrestling with the message for the weekend ahead, she had a beautiful notion and request. Simply, let’s talk. And so we did. We talked about the pain and promise of the moment, the darkness and light, mostly we just showed up with open and willing hearts reaching for a way forward.
