The Mental Health Movement Among The African Diaspora

Encouraging Thoughts with Tomi

Happy new month Loved One!!! You made it to the month of May so rejoice and be glad in it!! In today’s episode, we talk about the Mental Health Movement Among the African Diaspora! As you know, it's "May is Mental Health Month" a month where we celebrate the importance of seeking mental health care. During the episode, I brought my good friend, Amenze Ogbebor, as a guest speaker to discuss our thoughts and experiences navigating mental health care as African American women who were brought up in a predominant African home. Amenze is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) so if you would like to use her services for your therapy needs then please click on her website link below. In addition, we made sure to left y'all with many mental health resources for you to utilize so please click on the linktree to access them. As always, grab a friend, sip on some nice smooth wine, and tune in to listen to the episode!

Stay blessed and let's get encouraged together!
