Episode 32: Lead Fitness & Nutrition

In Episode 32, I talk to Cristal, the founder of Lead Fitness and Nutrition. We talk about her experiences being a first generation student and the challenges that came with that. We connected on our similar experiences of abandonment from the institutions we went to.

[*warning explicit content* Minutes 16:00-18:00 very heavy conversation, emotional, discussing thoughts of not being "alive"]

Cristal then talks to us about being a bar back and how she let go of that to get involved in personal training at Equinox. She mentions how she made it known that she wants to be a holistic coach. Towards the end, she tells us how her getting off birth control actually led to her usage of sea moss which then became her small business.

[*warning loud mic at the end*] my mic gets really loud for some reason
