AlphaNerds: Analyze's Dungeons & Dragons

Tonight’s episode of AlphaNerds will be a discussion around Dungeons & Dragon’s and Christianity. The show is broadcasting its second episode tonight at 9 pm Central.

Last week, AlphaNerds premiered around the upcoming CBS show, Star Trek: Picard. Nash Carey, and his wife Annie Carey host the show from their home in Oklahoma City.

Tonight’s episode is a discussion about Dungeons & Dragons. The topics will range from where one might find a group of players, to the impacts D&D may have towards a person’s spirituality.

Last week did not provide a live caller to the first show. This week the show hopes to remedy the issue with a more verbal crowd. Annie states, “We have some emails that will get some attention today.” AlphaNerds will be responding to emails by podcast listeners who did not hear last week’s show during the live broadcast.

Dungeons & Dragons is a role-playing game by TSR. The game has found a resurgence of popularity due to Netflix’s show Stranger Things. The show is seamlessly set in the 1980s and features the stars playing during the game’s peak popularity. But what kind of influences are found in the game?
