Come into relationship with your dreams for growth and healing In this class we will entertain the idea that dreams speak to us in a forgotten language of metaphors, symbols, images, and archetypes. We dream in archetypal imagery; however, the meaning in our dream images is particular to the dreamer. All of psychic life rises up from our collective unconscious depths, and this is why we spend one-third of our lives asleep - so that we can reconnect with our energizing psychic roots. This reconnect restores and balances our conscious mind, supplying us with whatever is missing in waking consciousness. Gaining access to your personal dream realm and its symbolism is an invaluable resource, therefore I will be guiding and encouraging you as you begin to understand the soulful language of your dreams and to integrate what you learn into your waking life. Join Dr Katherine Lawson, a Mind-Body Medicine doctor, who is deeply interested in therapies that stimulate one's capacity for self-knowledge and self-healing. She focuses on the interactions between the brain, mind, body, and personality, and the powerful ways in which mental, social, spiritual, and behavioral factors affect health and happiness. She completed the Mind-Body Medicine Ph.D. program at Saybrook University, and received her MA in Counseling Psychotherapy, with an emphasis in Depth Psychology, from Pacifica Graduate Institute.
