Mobile Journalism - a talk with Glen Mulcahy

Smartphones are a great tool for recording and editing videos, photos and audio. They are permanently connected with the Internet, i.e. with the world.  But in newsrooms mobile journalists are still hard to find. A photo here, a video clip there - however, mobile journalists are by no means a fixed part of editorial offices. Not here in Austria and not in other countries.  I discussed this contradiction with Glen Mulcahy from Ireland, a professional who has already trained hundreds of journalists to become mobile journalists.
