Episode 3 - Interview with Jen Burke ‘99, Public Affairs and Communications Manager at the Maine Credit Union League

Jen Burke serves as the Public Affairs and Communications Manager for the Maine Credit Union League, a professional trade association that exists to serve Maine’s 54 credit unions. In this role, Jen coordinates League communications, statewide initiatives and community outreach, and serves as the organization’s spokesperson.
Before joining the League in 2018, Jen managed her own government and public relations consulting firm—a position she held for over a decade. She has worked in both Augusta and Washington, DC, and brings a wide array of public affairs experience to her role.
In addition to her responsibilities at the League, Jen is on the Board of the Maine Public Relations Council and the Saint James School Catholic Education Board. Jen recently completed a three-year mentorship with four Biddeford High School Class of 2020 graduates through the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute—a program founded by her former boss, the Honorable Olympia J. Snowe.
Jen is a proud graduate of the University of Southern Maine. She earned her degree in Political Science, graduating magna cum laude in 1999.
