Scurf Show

Glover Quin Jr. played defensive back in the NFL for 10 seasons. He spent four years with the Houston Texans (2009-12) and six years with the Detroit Lions (2013-18), where he made the Pro Bowl and led the NFL in interceptions in 2014.

A native of Summit, Mississippi, Glover played at Southwest Mississippi Community College before transferring to the University of New Mexico. He was a fourth-round draft pick of the Texans in 2009. He wound up starting 12 games as a rookie and went on to start 159 consecutive games until he retired following the 2018 season.

In his post-football career, Glover has created a video production company, CLIX Media, named after the Roman numerals for 159. He also hosts a new weekly show called The DB Room, which currently has more than 1,100 subscribers on YouTube.

Follow Glover on Instagram at @gloverquin, @clixmediaus and @the_db_room.

Scurf and GQ's conversation topics include Clix Media and The DB Room, memories of his time in the NFL, how it felt not to get re-signed by the Texans as a free agent in 2012, how he made it to the NFL from a small town in Mississippi, and his thoughts on the Mississippi legislature voting to remove the Confederate battle symbol from the state flag. #scurfshow
