Casablanca and Saving Private Ryan

Eastland Cinema Club Podcast

Tonight, we look at two movies that depict war, specifically WWII.  Casablanca was a film that was created during WWII and is seen as a classic film from that era.  The film takes place in French Morocco not Madagascar as was said in the podcast.  The second is and probably will continue to be a classic which is Saving Private Ryan by Steven Spielberg.  This film depicts most of the true nature of soldiers in war.  It follows one squad as they look for a man name Private Ryan to return him home.
