The Goal to be Poor

What kind of Goal is being Poor? That's the opposite of what we're all trying to do. BUT, if we kept an Eternal Perspective, and understand our position in relation to God - whose point of view is REALLY the only one that matters, it comes clear how our ultimate Goal in our earthly life should be to see ourselves as Poor.
