Demario is joined in this conversation by his wife of ten years, Tamela Gill-Davis. “In today's society, when you see boldness in believers standing up and taking action—standing on what they know to be true. The grace of God is igniting inside of them to give them that confidence, no matter what their peers are thinking, no matter what their bosses are thinking, no matter what mainstream society is trying to tell them. And we need that today.” - Demario Davis “I really started to examine my life a little bit and realize that my life wasn't going a direction I wanted it to go and something needed to change… I came to Christ and the scales were removed from my eyes… And so I just had a passion to go and share the gospel in my locker room and beyond.” - Demario Davis Learn more about the 2021 Super Bowl Breakfast at superbowlbreakfast.com. Rebroadcast: “Excellence isn’t a destination - it’s an identity” with Chad Hennings

“Excellence isn’t a destination - it’s an identity” with Chad Hennings This week, Ken’s guest is Chad Hennings - 3-time Super Bowl champion, former fighter pilot, author, entrepreneur, men’s ministry leader — and most importantly husband to Tammy and father to Chase and Brenna. Together, Ken and Chad discuss the toll of feeling powerless as a father who is unable to heal their child’s sickness, transcending our nation’s turmoil and division through Christ, and the importance of bending our knees to God’s will to find our mission and purpose in life. Chad Hennings is a three-time Super Bowl champion and Air Force veteran. As an accomplished lineman in high school, Hennings was offered full scholarships from universities across the nation. Instead, he chose to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he earned numerous honors. Hennings’ exemplary achievements earned him a role on the Dallas Cowboys’ roster, but Hennings postponed his entry into the National Football League to fulfill his commitment to the U.S. Air Force. He entered the Euro-NATO program, a training program for top pilots, and soon found himself at the controls of the A-10 Thunderbolt. During his four-year stint with the Air Force, Hennings flew 45 missions in support of Operation Provide Comfort in northern Iraq, an effort that helped provide relief and humanitarian aid to Kurdish refugees. He received two aerial achievement medals, a humanitarian award and an outstanding unit award for his actions in the service. After his discharge, Hennings joined the Dallas Cowboys, quickly earning a starting position as a defensive lineman. He spent his entire 9-year professional football career with the Cowboys, retiring in 2001 with three Super Bowl rings. Since his retirement from the NFL, Hennings has found success as a commercial real estate professional, author and motivational speaker. He established Wingmen Ministries, a Christian men’s ministry that concentrates on discipleship. Additionally, Hennings serves on the Promise Keepers Board of Directors.
