Welcome to the first episode of “Behind the Patch,” where we present news, stories and information of importance to the medics of Acadian Ambulance Service, as well as EMS professionals across the nation.
To kick off our season, Justin Back, President of Acadian Ambulance Service, brings us up to date on the company.
Back joined Acadian as a vice president in 2013 and has held leadership roles in several areas including fleet maintenance, regional operations and integrations. Justin is serving as the fourth president of Acadian Ambulance, following in the footsteps of Roland Dugas, David Pierce and Jerry Romero. A native of Perth, Australia, Justin is a graduate of the Royal Military College of Australia and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Cross University and a Master of Business Administration from the Louisiana State University. He is a nationally-accredited Emergency Medical Technician and a graduate of the National EMS Academy.
