Executive Director of ARISE2READ, Dr. La Tonya Mouzon. Originally, from Washington, D.C. she was adopted by grandparents due to her teenage mom’s circumstance. Dr. Mouzon recalls her love for reading at a very early age. Education wasn’t on her radar at first, at least not in a classroom setting. She’s shares how God has directed her along the way bringing her to Memphis and now in this new role with Arise2Read.
