WTH Does a Dietitian Do? With Ronee Saad from Mount Sinai

What The Heck Do You Do? Podcast

Ronee is a registered dietitian who works at a hospital. In her role, she rounds with the medical team, gathers information on patients, and creates individualized nutrition care plans that can help patients better manage their illnesses. She incorporates a patient’s past medical history, diet history and weight history into her assessments, can recommend different methods to feed patients non-orally and helps prevent or lessen malnutrition. Now 4 years out of school, after a dietetic internship and passing her national credential exam, she is a senior clinical dietitian who specializes in neonatal ICU nutrition, ensuring that sick or premature infants grow and tolerate their feeds.

If you have any more questions about her path to nutrition, other branches of nutrition, or how to get in touch with other registered dietitian-nutritionists who work in fields you may be interested in, you can email Ronee at Saad.Ronee@gmail.com.
