While our eyes are truly windows to our souls, it is imperative that we gain the clarity that only God grants from being introspective; that is, looking deep within ourselves, to ensure that God’s imprint, His will, His word and His way dwells within us. Looking outward and seeing others allow us to be observant, but looking deep within, permits us to examine ourselves, so that we can improve our walk with the Lord. God’s word reminds us to ‘examine ourselves,’ so be obedient and be introspective.
