God seeks to be in relationship with us; He is the initiator. He seeks to make covenant with us, like he did with Noah. The rainbow is a reminder that there are storms we face and go through that put us at the end of our rope. The biggest storm is the sin in our life that separates us from God. During this season of Lent, we come face to face with this.
