Read Me a Story Podcast

Stories are a fundamental part of life aren’t they? From the beginning stories were told & retold, passed down from generation to generation. I’m no good at making up stories but I love to read them and especially enjoy re reading my favourites! Reading aloud, sharing a story with others, that’s what this podcast is about, whether you snuggle up in a cosy place or tune in whilst walking the dog or travelling. I hope you enjoy listening, perhaps you’ll rediscover some old favourites or be introduced to something new.

    In this episode of Read me a Story we have reached the last few chapters of Precious Time by Erica James. Clara has decided she must meet up with Todd whilst he’s still in this country and tell him that Ned is his son. Casper is with Damson who is coming to the end of her life, how will he, Jonah & especially Gabriel deal with another death in their family?     Precious Time Episode 10

    In this episode of Read me a Story we’re learning more about Clara & Ned’s adventures in the book Precious Time by Erica James. Their travelling has been put on hold again as Clara has the flu, they had gone back to Mermaid House to return Val’s diaries and now Clara is sleeping off her symptoms whilst Gabriel looks after Ned. Meanwhile Casper has been summoned to Rosewood Manor to visit his twin sister Damson, and Jonah has offered to get some things for Clara from Winnie, the camper van. But Clara has forgotten the guilty reason why she came back to Mermaid House and the evidence is in Winnie ...

    Welcome back to Read me a story, as we continue the book Precious Time by Erica James, Clara has come across Val’s diaries which had been pushed into a cupboard in Winnie and forgotten. After reading the last entry she knows she must go back to Deaconsbridge & give the diaries to Gabriel, but how will he react? Meanwhile Casper’s money worries are coming to a head and both Gabriel & Jonah are missing Clara & Ned’s presence at Mermaid House.     Continuing the book Precious Time by Erica James. We discover the forthcoming marriage between Gabriel & Clara is off, of course it was only invented as a way to wind up Gabriel’s elder son Casper, who had decided Clara was a gold digger after his inheritance. Clara has been reading Val’s diaries and is now intrigued by the divisions in the lives of Gabriel & his 3 children, but should she be reading private diaries and where will her curiosity take her?     In this episode of tell me a story we hear more about Clara Costello & her 4 year old son Ned, who have taken time out of their travelling adventure in the camper van, named Winnie, and are parked up at Mermaid House. Whilst Ned explores with it’s gruff owner Gabriel Liberty, Clara continues to transform the house bringing it back to it’s former glory. But not everyone is happy with this arrangement, after being told of the presence of Clara & Ned by his little brother Jonah, eldest son Casper is now on the warpath .......
