    Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Roundtable Recap with your Challenge Fandom Podcast hosts Rick, Corrina, Tony, Katie and Alexis. This week we were supposed to have Ryan Kehoe on as a special guest but he was a sleepy girl so we will have him on in the next couple weeks to help breakdown all the behind the scenes stuff we don't get to see but he gets to hear from all his Challenge besties. To kick this episode off we discuss the opening photo purge scene and why that one was chosen to promote this episode, Michele refusing to target Josh, massive editing mistakes, Cara giving flowers to other top tier female competitors around her and Rachel continues going after every guy in the house behind Johnny Bananas' back. We also debate whether or not the mini final is truly a staple of The Challenge, how the pentalty for Theo SHOULD have been handled, and how did they keep from losing their keys in the sand while digging?! Next we debate whether or not this mini final was a good measuring stick for seeing how people might perform in the final, how we felt about timing out on stage 1 of the mini final, and if Jordan happens to get his 5th win during his 10th season, would his win ratio percentage make him the undisputed GOAT of The Challenge? We also discuss whether or not Laurel should be removed from the MT Rushmore discussion after quitting this mini final, Theo requesting Jordan over Bananas, whether or not we believe there was ever a chance Tori would send in Jordan over Bananas, nomination breakdown and are Cara and Tori seriously hanging out in the same room and talking to each other civilly?! Lastly we break down the elimination including what we hated about it and how we would have fixed it. Then we close out by discussing the new targets, Josh and Michele's fight in the elimination arena, Laurel betraying Bananas in the Karma Points, episode grades, MVP's line of the night and so much more! Plus, since we're halfway through the season, we have our midseason special guest Alex Brizard here to break down everything from this episode and the highlight moments this season leading up to it. We kick off with a quick intro period where we celebrate Halloween and Katie's 9 year wedding anniversary plus we give our overview of the episode (0:00 - 9:45). Once we break into the actual recap, we cover everything from how Johnny Bananas and Tori Deal feel like they're flipping game styles this season, who is the new era face of this show, why Bananas didn't pick Cara Maria and how we felt about Kyland going toe to toe with Bananas. Next we break down Banana's gameplay over the last 5 seasons and debate whether or not Bananas had another other choice of action other than what transpired on this episode of Challenge 40. We also break the daily down including the odd choices for editing, how we felt about the DQ scenarios, Theo's fall from grace and are Cara and Tori living the same Challenge arc?     Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Roundtable Recap with your Challenge Fandom Podcast OG hosts Rick, Corrina and Josh. This week we got together to break down MTV's The Challenge Season 40 "Battle of the Eras" episode 10 "A New Era" and all the craziness that came with it! We open up with a quick intro to discuss some scenes that were in the season preview but not in the show so far, our quick overview of the highlights of the episode and where Corrina's big disconnect with the show and fandom comes from. If you'd like to skip all this, jump to time marker 11:15. We kick off the episode by breaking down the Devin cutouts, clearing up what we felt Josh did wrong in his conversation with Rachel last episode, fake friendships vs gameships, Michele evidentially giving up on her alliance with Bananas and how did the target bands actually get worse?! Next we discuss how the format change will effect the game and players going forward, what previous season this second half of season 40 reminds us of, who's final ready in this type of heat and who impressed us most in this daily even if they didn't come in first place. We also discuss whether or not Michele Fitzgerald is made for The Challenge, our thoughts on the Ladies of Leisure, Bananas making a Dr Will Big Brother move and following it up by stealing a joke from Cedric The Entertainer and passing it off as a threat to Tori and Jordan. To finish off the middle portion of this episode, we discuss women who aren't afraid to stand up to powerhouse men like Johnny Bananas. We also discuss Jordan's approach to winning this episode, why Rick is always secretly hoping for a public bar situation, Tori's master plan, Rachel's master game play this season and Bananas' oversight on Jordan's reach in the house. Finally we break down the elimination, what we thought about the questionable parts of it, how we feel about the new targets rule, the entire direction of the gameplay of the show being all about Devin, whether or not Bananas jokes and quips are getting old, lines of the night, MVPs and so much more! This week your Challenge Fandom Podcast hosts Rick, Corrina and Josh get together to recap MTV's The Challenge season 40 "Battle of the Eras" episode 6 "My Real Friends Era" but first, we kick off with a couple of stories about our trip to Detroit, what it was like recording at GOHT Media studios where The Zach Nichols Podcast is recorded, our adventures on a pedi-bike and Josh tells a hilarious story about his new Vespa (0:00 - 18:00). Then we break into the opening part of this episode and discuss the episode titling system for this season, what the point of this photo foreshadow was, are Laurel and Cara truly like big sister/little sister, did Jenny handle the situation with her team correctly, Nehemiah's gift to Jonna and does Jelly Belly have a new Banana flavor?! Next we break down the daily including our thoughts on Laurel and Cara's speeches to their team, whether or not Cara should have thrown the daily challenge and Derrick's resiliency! Next we crack into the nomination ceremony by discussing Josh and Jenny's decision to call a team meeting and then ignoring the points made in the meeting, Bananas exploiting Josh's emotions in nominations, Cory's speech game and what needed to happen in order for Josh to have the guts to do what he needed to do in this moment. We also discuss the highly disappointing club scene including Derrick Kosinski being knowledgeable about buildings around the world, Bananas attempt at dismantling Devin and Michele's relationship and whether or not it's okay to self nominate with conditions. Lastly we discuss the elimination including our overall thoughts on it, what our strategy would be and was this one of the "stupid things" Bananas would have been good at? We close out by discussing the overall gameplay, whether or not the target choosing order gives the newer eras an advantage, new target breakdown, what's missing on Season 40 that we were expecting, overall season ratings, episode grade and of course our MVPs and lines of the night!
