    Working On Your "One Thing"

We all have at least one thing we need to work on to improve ourselves, but sometimes we don't know where to begin. Rob and Lloyd share some things they learned when they recently attended a fireside given by Maurice Harker, founder of Life Changing Services, where Maurice teaches us as parents how we can use the "Discover, Plan, Act, Reflect" tool (or DPAR) to work on that "one thing." This is a great tool shared with us from our prophet and leaders found in the Children and Youth program in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  If you would like to view the whole fireside you can do so here. More details on DPAR can be found here. “Like Dragons Did They Fight” by Maurice Harker is the book where you can find many of the principles we discuss and is the veritable handbook thousands of people have used to assist them in developing greater self-mastery. Please visit the Life Changing Services website to get more information on the many people who can help and programs we offer to assist you and your family in overcoming some of life’s most difficult challenges. We would love to hear from you! Please email us at fatherswhofight@lifechangingservices.org or leave a voice message at the link below. And please consider rating and reviewing us on your favorite podcast app to help expand our reach and band together more Fathers Who Fight for their families! Although we do our best and to live and teach doctrines of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this podcast is not an official publication of the Church.
