Philosophize This!

I have been a lover of philosophy for the last 40 years (since I remember). I have a Phd from UC Berkeley and an MPA-2 from Harvard. The first books I bought with my own money when I was 12 were Copleston history of philosophy. I took clases about Heidegger in Mexico, and also classes with Nozick and Sen at Harvard. I have written essays about philosophy and law & economics. In short, I think I know what I am talking about. Stephen West is not only a philosopher but an a philanthropist. It has been a great revelation all of his work to me. His deep intellect explains difficult concepts in a very clear and easy way. He is not a lecturer that re-reads the original works. He elaborates based on them. He gives a whole new -an deepest perspective. He creates. I have listened so far to more than 100 of his amazing podcasts. Some of them more than once (The Fall, for example). I like his honesty (it looks he is fan of Marx -nobody is perfect 😜), but even though, he keeps impartiality and objectivity explaining the main ideas in all of his presentations. He has passion, an enthusiastic anima, a great voice, sense of humor and clear accent. That for a non USA person like me, it deserves a double gratitude. My admiration for his generosity and his outstanding podcast. Of course I am a patreon, and I invite everyone to be. It is an honor to invest in a public good, like this one. Andrés Roemer

It is impressive the way Stephen explains philosophy, if we all use philosophy as a way of conduct our lives, this would be, without a doubt, a better world!!

Funny and cultivating! An entertaining, interesting way to learn!

Very funny, entertaining, and comprehensible! Once I started listening I just couldn’t stop. It replaced my music, now it’s almost the only thing that I listen to!
