I recognize your brilliance as a writer-comedian but, frankly, you are a second-rate politician and are definitely not a statesman. I long for signs that you actually learn something from your politically and otherwise expert interviewees. E.g. today PKrugman's most telling message was "never give in to terrorists." His other point was that the debt crap is not, from an economic point of view, worth getting all frothed up about. So you got frothed up and babbled on about trying to get along with Republicans=terrorists. I wish you would understand that the text of an interview comes from the interviewee so your job is to help him/her to "write" their own text brilliantly. Please stop laughing at non-jokes; it doesn't lighten up the conversation, it confuses the listener.
