Peergroup are familiar with delving into the unknown. As site specific theatre makers, they seek out complex, societal challenges and make art together with the citizens wrapped up in them. And this kind of theatre making happens right out in the turbulent sea of everyday life.
This is a search, to uncover exactly how community and location theatre create societal impact what remains in the wake of such theatre making and the trouble with measuring effect. In this mini series we’ll be looking back at several Peergroup productions and hearing from those involved in the creation of them, those affected by the process and the social scientists that have been investigating the impact of Peergroups work.
